Summary of Specifications:
A pole mounted fiber optic line owned by the City of Boulder was recently damaged by falling debris that was the result of a recent heavy snowstorm. The fiber optic line runs from the City to our Betasso Water Treatment plant located approximately eight (8) miles up Boulder Canyon in the immediate foothills surrounding the City. The fiber optic cable provides a critical data link to the water treatment equipment at the Betasso facility and service through this line must be re-established on an expedited basis.
