Summary of Specifications:
The work performed under this contract includes the excavation, application of tack coat and plant hot mix bituminous pavement patch to utility trenches within existing asphalt paved streets throughout the City of Aurora at a depth determined by the City. The work to be performed for utility trench patching is still under review and will be identified to the contractor at pre-construction conference. Work will be identified by street location, pipe length and type of street. The trench is approximately 3 feet wide. Work for water line breaks will be given to the contractor as they occur. The contractor should be prepared to perform work at any location within the City. In some cases the contractor maybe required to add base course material to the sub grade to achieve proper depth. Plan Holders for this project are defined as those who (1) successfully download and printed plans and specs from www.auroragov.org/business AND called 303-739-7100 to identify themselves (business name; full address; point of contact; phone and fax numbers) to formally receive subsequent addendum(s) OR (2) purchased plans and specs from the City of Aurora Purchasing Services, 15151 East Alameda Parkway, Suite 4400, Aurora, Colorado, 80012
