The City of Aurora, Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Department is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to provide all labor, labor supervision, materials, necessary tools and equipment, to provide grinding of stumps, as required, (approximately 5,000 diameter inches, approximately 205 stumps) located on the City’s right-of-way on publicly dedicated streets abutting mostly single-family, residentially-zoned premises. A list of addresses will be provided monthly to the contractor during the duration of the contract.
The Contractor shall be responsible for grinding stumps without damage to surrounding plants, fixtures, or property, promptly removing the wood chips and restoring each site to its original condition. This is a 12 month contract where the contractor must complete a minimum of 400 diameter inches of stump grinding per month.
