6076A - 2025 Traffic Calming Device Installation Services

The 2025Traffic Calming Device Installation Services consists of the following:

• Furnish and install ten (10) Speed Limit Feedback Signs (SLFS) also known as Radar Speed Signs (RSS) per minimum requirements.
Installation shall include pedestal pole assembly featuring a SLFS/RSS with a solar panel and battery pack.
• SLFS/RSS equipment shall be installed at various locations throughout the City of Aurora
• A site visit with the selected Contractor and City project staff shall be required to field locate each of the ten (10) SLFS/RSS devices. Selected Contractor will be responsible for Colorado 811 services for each area locate prior to the site visits.
• Furnish to City twenty (20) Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs) per minimum requirements.
• Selected Contractor shall submit materials cut sheets to the Project Manager for review and approval prior to purchase of any materials for this project.
• All work shall be performed in accordance with City of Aurora Roadway Design and Construction Specifications dated 2023, details available at: https://www.auroragov.org/business_services/development_center/codes_rules/design_standards/engineering_design_standards.
 
Work not specifically called for, but necessary to perform the contract work will be considered incidental to the contract whether specifically detailed or not.
