2016-132 - Architect Design Services for the Old Powerhouse Project

The project will include, but is not limited to: The design portion of this project is split in two phases. Phase one will involve a complete conversion of the interior space, including the large gallery space, to a flexible modern office space, and upgrading the existing mechanical, electrical, water, and fire sprinkler systems. Phase two will be a complete exterior package including a new roof, new windows, fascia restoration, HPC review, and the addition of an elevator. The Old Powerhouse is a cherished historic structure that will require extra attention to detail and careful design review with the City of Aspen’s Historic Preservation Committee (HPC) and the public.
