Description

The ECMH Consultation Program needs to complete a legislative required program evaluation. The program is already under contract with a third-party evaluator. That vendor is at capacity and unable to increase time on the project. In addition, the CDEC ECMH Consultation Program Administrator will lose staffing support from the state intermediary (June 2025) and term-limited ECMH Workforce Development Specialist position (September 2025) when stimulus funding ends. Securing a highly skilled researcher to support the final year of intense fidelity implementation and data collection is needed in SFY26 to ensure the evaluation is set up for success. This solution provides critical short-term capacity within CDEC while ensuring appropriate and complete use of Sb21-137 funds (expire June 2026; ECMH Consultation Program State General Funds 280K allocation through SB21-137).
