Description

Boulder Valley School District RE-2 (District) is seeking information from vendors to provide BVSD’s Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Department information on a digital technology solution to increase efficiency and accuracy in documenting response to intervention at the system and student level. Additional information is in Section 3 “Scope of Services / Requirements”.

This is a non-binding, Request for Information (“RFI”). Responses to this RFI will not be considered as firm offers, nor will responses result directly in an award for software and services. Individual responses may or may not be used by the District as an aid in creating a future solicitation or for negotiation of a contract.

The purpose of this request for information is to:

Gather information that would assist in preparation of a Request for Proposals or negotiation of a contract;
Derive a rough cost estimate of acquiring such software, equipment and services so as to examine funding options.

Upon completion of the RFI phase, provided the District has sufficient information and has available funding, it is the intent of the District to solicit formal proposals and/ or negotiate a contract with companies that respond to this RFI.

Responses received from vendors will be reviewed by a committee. The committee may request additional information from vendors including scripted demos. The District may also, in its discretion, pre-qualify or otherwise establish a select number of vendors who have responded to this RFI, to invite to solicit formal proposals and/ or negotiate a contract.

While the information gathered through this request will be helpful to the District at this preliminary stage, it may not be the sole basis for vendor selection in the solicitation of formal proposals and/ or contract negotiations. The District appreciates vendor input, via responses to this RFI, at this stage in the District’s process and encourages those interested in working with the District to respond.
