Description

The Town of Jamestown’s (Town) James Creek irrigation ditch headgate and the first 380 feet of conveyance pipe was destroyed during the September 2013 flood. Reconstruction using best construction practices has been approved by FEMA as follows in this ITB. The reconstruction of this permanent structure is a Category G FEMA reconstruction project.
The Town of Jamestown is seeking bids from qualified contractors with demonstrated experience in heavy earthwork construction. By means of this Invitation to Bid (ITB), the Town is seeking a contractor to construct the Jamestown Creek Irrigation Ditch Reconstruction (FEMA Category G permanent repairs) project.

    A mandatory* pre-bid and site walk will be held at the Jamestown Town Hall at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Time, October 19. 2107.  Interested parties will meet at the Jamestown Town Hall at 118 Main St., Jamestown, CO 80455. *Bidders that attended the pre-bid conference for James.039 on August 28, 2017, are not required to attend the pre-bid conference.
    Please arrive promptly James Canyon Road, leading to Jamestown is under construction and subject to delay. All interested parties must have an employee of their firm sign-in and attend the mandatory pre-bid and site walk meeting.
    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): For your safety, attendees shall wear closed-toed shoes.
