Summary of Specifications:
The following Request for Proposal (RFP) is for afterschool programing offered at six Aurora Public Schools sites. The program provides both an academic component and an enrichment component for participating students. This afterschool program services students who need a positive safe afterschool environment and who would benefit from additional academic and social emotional support. The program focuses on providing small group reading instruction and enrichment activities that are engaging and broaden students’ horizons. These enrichment activities also give students experiences they might not otherwise have the opportunity to engage in during afterschool hours. 

This RFP is only for the enrichment component of the afterschool program. The school sites, program days and hours, and program requirements are outlined below. The monies allocated in this RFP are for 21st Century Community Learning Centers funding awarded to APS for afterschool programing. Please give a detailed response to the requirements outlined in each section of the RFP.
