Description

Aurora Public Schools (APS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to secure a consultant or consulting organization with deep expertise in designing and implementing two-way dual language (TWDL) programs in urban public school contexts. The selected partner will collaborate with APS to co-develop foundational elements of the district’s first TWDL magnet school, with a focus on 90/10 to 50/50 Spanish-English programming.
This engagement will be funded up to $50,000, and will prioritize deliverables that support development/design and early-stage implementation (Year 0) of APS’s TWDL model, aligned to best practices for TWDL including: high academic achievement, biliteracy and bilingualism, and socio-cultural competence.
