Description

The CAVEA space is an event/presentation space with theater style abilities with lighting and AV; it is now 10 years old and the desire is to upgrade the technology to what is currently available. The CAVEA space is comprised of a main room (Room 420), an adjacent Operations (control) Room and 2 Breakout Rooms (JSSB 422, and 424). This RFP is to solicit design and possibly equipment from qualified vendors who can help move the technology of this room to current standards.
This scope focuses on designing and upgrading the AV system by outlining the following information and requirements. Offerors must include recommendations on external and/or internal computer hardware to facilitate the complex video environments of the theater and breakout rooms.

Event Note

To ensure sufficient information is available to offerors preparing responses, a mandatory pre-proposal meeting and walkthrough has been scheduled (see date and time listed in the Schedule of Activities). The intent of this meeting is to have MSU Denver staff available to discuss the project and tour the facility. Please allow extra time to locate parking as it is limited. Prompt attendance is required; offerors arriving late may be turned away. Offerors must attend the entire meeting and walkthrough and must sign-in in order to have their proposals accepted. Offerors should allow one (1) hour for the meeting and walkthrough.
