The purpose of this Solicitation is to provide qualified Entity(s)/Contractor(s) with sufficient information regarding the County's needs in order to adequately prepare and submit a response for the pricing of Heating and Plumbing Services to be offered July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020 for Arapahoe County Weatherization Assistance Program for low-income households in both Arapahoe and Adams Counties. It is agreed and understood that Responses to this Solicitation are considered to be working documents while they are under consideration, and as such, are not currently subject to official bid openings. The only information released at the public opening of responses to this Solicitation will be the names of the respondents. There is no specific number of Contractors to be selected. Rather, this Request for Proposal is a process designed to provide Arapahoe County with a list of current services and pricing that can be utilized to provide services to eligible low-income household in Arapahoe and Adams Counties.

Contractor must have a local office open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – Contractor to include Certificate of Incorporation or other formal documentation meeting the requirement in their submittal.
Contractor must have been in business for a minimum of Five (5) Years – Certificate of Corporation or Limited Liability Partnerships registered with the State of Colorado or other formal documentation meeting the requirement of years in business.
As many municipalities require licensed plumbers to install water heaters, if your firm bids on water heater replacements, please provide Plumber’s License.
