#26-004 - Proposed Sole Source - AirSync

Aims is seeking to classify AirSync Bridge as a Sole Source, providing Aims Community College intends to award a sole-source contract for AirSync Bridge hardware and services. Following a market analysis, it has been determined that AirSync is the only solution capable of meeting the college’s safety and operational requirements based on the following proprietary features:

• Exclusive Proprietary Integration: AirSync is the only hardware bridge that provides a fully automated wireless uplink between installed G1000 avionics and the CloudAhoy debriefing environment.
• Primary Source Data Integrity: Unlike secondary or portable sensors (which rely on independent GPS/AHRS), AirSync extracts the complete diagnostic and performance dataset directly from the aircraft’s primary avionics suite.
• Critical Operational Continuity: The system provides the only available automation that eliminates manual SD card handling, ensuring 100% data consistency and availability across a diverse fleet.
• Non-Interoperability of Substitutes: The safety and training enhancements mandated by the Aims Aviation curriculum are technically unattainable without the specific data stream and automated synchronization provided by this integration.
