2425-004 - New Junior High School

The new facility will serve up to 750 students in 7th and 8th grades. The school will be designated as the district’s Junior High School. It is intended to meet all current district standards for technology, supporting a full range of program needs aligned with the Academies at the High School. This project will include athletic amenities such as track and football/soccer field, along with support facilities, restrooms, concessions, and bleachers. The location for the new Junior High School will be located at 7101 Birch St, Commerce City, Co 80022. The building size is projected to be 110,000 square feet. Building height of partial two-story. The budget is $63 million. Project will pursue CHPS or LEED certification.
