The Town of Apple Valley, in coordination with Caltrans, is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to complete the final design, environmental documentation, bidding assistance, and construction support (excluding inspection services) for a new traffic signal at the intersection of Pawnee Road and State Highway 18. The project aims to deliver a fully ADA-compliant, pedestrian-friendly signalized intersection that addresses safety concerns stemming from increased traffic volumes, turning movement conflicts, and the absence of pedestrian infrastructure.

All submittals received shall become the property of the Town of Apple Valley and will not be returned. Respondents shall provide electronic copies of their submittal which can be emailed to rberger@applevalley.org by the submittal deadline.
If the Respondent is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of this RFP or finds discrepancies or omissions, the Respondent shall submit to the Town a written request for information or clarification prior to August 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the attention of Rich Berger, either in hard copy or via email at: rberger@applevalley.org. Respondents are prohibited from contacting members of the Town Council or staff regarding this submittal. Failure to adhere to this provision shall be cause for disqualification from this process.
It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to ensure that their Proposal is delivered to the exact location specified in this RFP on or before the stated deadline. No exceptions will be made. Proposals received after the designated date and time, regardless of the cause or method of delivery, will not be considered and will be returned unopened.
