The City of Santa Clara (“City”) is soliciting proposals to pre-qualify prospective contractors for as-needed project basis specialized information technology (IT) services, in support of the City’s Electric Utility, Silicon Valley Power (SVP). The objective is to enter into master services agreements based on contractor qualifications and relevant experience. In accordance with SVP’s CIP-013 Supply Chain Risk Management Program, each proposer may be required, among other things, to complete a Vendor Risk Assessment and Attestation prior to executing a master services agreement, depending on the nature of the particular scope of work. Master agreements will be signed by both the contractor and the City to establish City standards, processes, and technical requirements that are required for every project.
When services are required, the City will issue a task order to pre-qualified contractors that describes the specific scope work. The actual award of work will be based on factors such as proposed cost, schedule availability, and specific experience related to the task.
