The City of Los Alamitos (City) is seeking proposals for the operation of an all-electric, on-demand shuttle service as part of the Citywide On-Demand EV Transportation Program. The shuttle service will operate within the full boundaries of the City of Los Alamitos, providing an accessible and efficient transportation option to residents, workers, and visitors throughout the city. This service aims to fill transportation gaps by offering a user-initiated, flexible mobility solution, ensuring that all areas of the city, including key community destinations such as UCI Health – Los Alamitos, the Los Alamitos Community Center, and other major access points along Katella Blvd. The shuttle service will be available on-demand, 12 hours a day, five days a week, and is open to all residents of the City of Los Alamitos. While the service will prioritize accessibility for seniors and individuals with disabilities, it will be available to the general public, offering ADA-compliant vehicles equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp to ensure inclusivity for all riders.
