The City of Hanford has allocated American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for the Downtown Traffic and Pedestrian Improvements. This project is for Consultant Services to prepare complete, bid
ready construction documents including Environmental Compliance, descriptions and exhibits, Traffic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Topographic Survey, Utility Coordination, and Bidding Services for the project.
The required project improvements include curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, road reconstruction to provide structural section and adjust profile grades, construction of one roundabout, streetscape improvements including landscaping, street furniture, and other decorative features, upgrade of existing storm drainage system, removal of traffic signals, construct bulb-outs, signage, and other improvements necessary for a complete operational project. The project will also include the redesign of the existing storm drainage system and improvements necessary for the project.
