Description

The WTP is a 75 MGD conventional water treatment facility. Its treatment processes consist of flocculation, coagulation, sedimentation, filtration and disinfection. This facility runs 24 hours a day and provides water to most of the City of Escondido and the City of Vista. The plant utilizes bulk fiberglass tanks for its chemical storage. The Tank will be used for the storage of 0.8% bleach (1120) (“Intermediate Tank”), according to the specifications attached as Exhibit 1 and incorporated herein by this reference.
