Specifications include, but are not limited to: The existing Burnham boiler units, water inlet and outlet piping, flue gas header and gas lines will need to be removed and properly disposed of. The existing boiler system uses five natural gas boilers. The new boiler train will have four slightly larger boilers, and the piping must accommodate this. The water inlet and outlet headers shall have ball valves installed to isolate each boiler independently from the others. The two existing circulator pumps will be replaced with similar equivalent units. After installation is complete, the Tekmar boiler controller shall be re-programmed to meet the boiler manufacturer specifications. The boilers are step fires to meet system demand. Any glycol, or corrosion inhibitors shall be checked, and replenished to required levels when work is complete.
