A. Rehabilitation of Secondary Clarifier #3 and Secondary Clarifier #4, to include, but not be limited to: 1. Remove and properly dispose of all existing equipment. 2. Furnish and Install all new equipment to include, but not be limited to: Influent Pipe Rake Arms and Blades Center Cage Dispersion Well Flocculation Well Scum Scraper Scum Beach Effluent Launder Covers Scum Baffle Weir Drive Unit Electrical/Power Coating of Clarifier Components 3. Contractor shall provide startup, testing, and adjusting, and training of City personnel as necessary. 4. Contractor shall provide all necessary items, including but not limited to, delivery and freight of equipment to job site, necessary permits, electrical requirements, crane services, etc. and any other materials, labor and equipment necessary or incidental to complete the work, in place and accepted by the City of Casper (City). B. Computer-Aided Drafting Format. 1. The DBC shall prepare final drawings on a computer-aided drafting format. Digital format shall be PDF and DXF/DWG and be compatible with AUTOCAD Version 2023 release or later. C. Construction Drawings. 1. DBC shall provide two (2) copies of the "draft" construction drawings and project manuals to be reviewed by City staff. 2. The DBC shall prepare a project cost estimate when plans are approximately seventy-five percent (75%) complete, and again two (2) weeks prior to approval of plans and construction. 3. The DBC shall meet with representatives from the City during the course of preparing drawings and specifications to discuss the status of the project. Meeting dates and times shall be scheduled and coordinated by DBC and shall be set with input from the City. In addition, the DBC shall attend any interim special meetings with City staff relating to the performance of this contract. The purpose of the meetings will be to discuss elements of design alternatives, value engineering, project criteria, project status, and design options. DBC shall prepare and distribute minutes of all progress meetings. In addition, the DBC shall hold progress review meetings at the 50%, 75%, and 90% levels of completion of the project plans, to be held at a City designated location. Plans that are 50% shall be provided to the City a minimum of one (1) week prior to the 50% progress review meeting. Plans that are 90% shall be provided to the City a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the 90% progress review meeting. Progress review meetings shall be attended by City staff and DBA. 4. The DBC shall prepare and provide City staff for approval, plans and specifications at 50% completion, 75% completion, and 100% completion, incorporating changes requested by the City. 5. After all approvals are complete, DBC shall provide the City one (1) set of final “For Construction” plans prior to construction in PDF format and DWG format via email. Two (2) hard copy 11x17 inch paper sheets shall be provided to City (City Engineering office and WWTP Staff). 6. Final drawings shall be placed on printable 11 by 17-inch paper sheets.
