1. The buses used for this service must be 2017 model year or newer shuttle buses that are capable of carrying a minimum of 32 seated passengers each and shall be equipped with electronic destination signs to display route information for START Passengers. 2. Each bus, the Contractor, and its operations must be in compliance with all Federal and Wyoming state lawsfor the operation of shuttle buses, including all applicable safety and emissions regulations and the ADA. 3. The Contractor will also be responsible for hiring appropriately licensed and qualified drivers to operate the vehicles and field supervisor(s) to monitor daily shuttle bus operations and serve as a liaison with START. 4. Contractor must have a reliable communication system in order to always be in communication with drivers in the field and to allow START to communicate with Contractor drivers in the field. 5. Contractor and all drivers must track the number of passengers per trip and route, in the manner dictated by START, and such information must be collected daily and turned in daily to START. 6. The Contractor must have replacement buses available for deployment when a bus goes out of service. An adequate number of buses must be available so a similar-sized and equipped replacement bus can be deployed within one (1) hour of a bus being taken out of service for any reason. Replacement buses must have appropriate signage. 7. The Contractor must have adequate number of qualified replacement drivers to fill in for sick days and vacation days.
