Specifications include, but are not limited to: Consultant services for the Reed Avenue Rail Corridor Design Project are for the development and design of a complete set of construction documents, including plans, specifications, and estimates. Any innovative solutions that are cost effective and meet project goals will be incorporated in the design. The Consultant is expected to thoroughly review, research, and inspect the scope, site, design constraints, and visible and known utilities within the defined project area. Additional professional services not provided in this scope will be provided by the Consultant in Request for Proposal (i.e., RFP) Additions/ Modifications to the Scope of Work section. Information contained in the RFP and the proposal submitted by the consultant team shall be incorporated by reference into and be considered part of this scope of services. Work required for this project will include project management; railroad coordination; public outreach and involvement; right-ofway and topographic surveying; geotechnical investigation; storm water and storm sewer design; roadway/pathway design; pedestrian underpass design; utility location, coordination, and design; urban design; and landscape design. A planning level conceptual design has been completed and will serve as a general guide to the intent of the project.
