Specifications include, but are not limited to: County desires to engage the services of a firm with expertise in BAS standardization, networking, and design. Firms will be selected to provide consultative and engineering services related to existing and proposed BAS systems in approximately 20 County facilities. The County has specific goals for this effort which include: Enhanced operating efficiency and improved system performance Better visibility of building and system performance Standard technical specifications and system requirements documents for the county to utilize in future construction and modernization efforts. Inventory and assessment of current systems Prioritized recommendations for modernization and replacement efforts Consultant will be retained for a 3-year period to assist with the qualification and procurement of contractors for BAS related projects, evaluation of proposals and specification submittals, supervision of the contractor in contract performance, and commissioning of installed systems.
