The contractor shall provide services which include (but limited to) prolonged field-care medical training for Eighteen (18) Personnel. The training will include, operating in a resource-depleted environment, team-training, as well as training which includes managing multiple patients in a mentally and physically stressful environment. The contractor shall provide role players, manikins and cadavers during hands-on skills stations and course scenarios. The training will refine student’s medical skills to effectively manage mass casualty environments under stress in a peer-near-peer environment.
The training will perform increased resiliency of stress, in highly specialized 68W Soldier’s. With current transitions in training being made to include peer-near-peer operations, the Prolonged Field Care Training will subsidize gaps in biennial requirements. This allows the unit(s) to conduct Casualty Collection Point and Mass Casualty Operations in training with the most current Standard Operating Procedures. The training will be in accordance with the TC 8-800 Table VIII validation requirements.
