A. Design & Replacement 1. The Museum owns a Vapor-logic3 humidifier control system which needs to be replaced. a. The Consultant shall recommend an acceptable replacement for the humidifier control system. 2. There are three (3) furnaces in the Museum which need to be replaced. a. These furnaces are in three different rooms. One furnace is at the end of a long line of furnaces, and the other two are in separate rooms with limited working space for removal and replacement. b. Recommendation of replacement furnace type and design for replacement method and repair is required for these. 3. Lighting improvements are required at the entrance to the museum. a. The new lighting is to be designed to meet the Museum’s security requirements, be tamper-proof, and match the Museum’s aesthetic requirements. 4. The best times for installation are the second and third weeks of August, or the second, third, and fourth weeks of September when the Museum has minimal events scheduled. Coordination with the Museum’s staff is required for all installation work.
