The contractor will be responsible for conducting inventory and treatment of INPS species (Table 1) location within the Buffalo Field Office managed stock driveways (Map 1(North) and Map 2(South)). The SDWs are located along the following County and State Roads; Bald Mountain-Dayton Road (CR100), Buffalo Sussex Cutoff Road (CR86), EK Mountain Road (CR60), Hazelton Road (CR3), Irigaray Road (CR 172), Mayoworth Road (CR 266), Mesa Road (CR 115), Red Grad Road (CR 26), Redhills Road (CR 114), Rome Hill Road (CR 3A), Slip Road (CR 67), Smith Creek Road (CR 116), Trabing Road (CR 13), Twin Creek Road (CR 140), Wyoming Highway 191, and Wyoming Highway 192. A complete description of the tasks and deliverables will be further explained below.
Some areas are located in remote locations and may require multiple days for treatment. Camping or lodging in remote areas may be necessary to maximize time on worksite and reduce amount of travel time.
The areas to be treated range from scattered single plants, several plants at a location, and concentrations of plants on approximately 1/10 acre and up to areas as large as 15+ acres where plants are consistent across the area. It is anticipated that the actual amount of area needing treatment (i.e. if all areas treated were consolidated into one patch) would be approximately 400 - 1000 acres annually.
