Specifications include, but are not limited to: Sweetwater County School District #1 is seeking proposals from qualified companies supply Avigilon camera hardware and software, provide installation and configuration of camera hardware, and provide all cabling necessary for camera hardware. Below are the criteria for the project: • Any contractors awarded this bid, must adhere to Sweetwater County School District #1 Policies o Policy GBK: ▪ Policy is subject to change, most up to date policy can be found on the District’s Website. ▪ The use of tobacco products by patrons and visitors on school district property is prohibited. This prohibition will extend to all property owned or used by the school district, with the exception of the area immediately outside of District-owned residences. • 3ft service loops should be provided on both ends of each run • Electrical Contractor must provide a new Leviton Quickport 48 port patch panel for that rack or equivalent. o Preferred Wire Leviton or Berk-Tek (lifetime warranty provided) o Belden, Commscope, General, Hitachi, Mohawk, or Superior Essex is acceptable (15-year warranty provided) o Or Equivalent wire – warranty will be a consideration when evaluating bids • Data runs should be behind the wall/ceiling with the least amount of conduit used as possible. o If any conduit is to be utilized, conduit must be painted. o Painted conduits are the only acceptable conduit, Panduit or any other style of raceway is unacceptable. o Usage of existing conduit is permitted. o Cable length must be determined by bidders, any measuring can be done throughout the site walk, information below. • Copper (CAT6): o Camera Drop Total is 34 o Total Number of Drops is 34 total • Data runs should be properly labeled and certified o Drop labels should be as follows ▪ AB42 – This example would be closet A, Patch Panel B and port number 42 • Closets are designated as follows: o MDF – RM 108 Closet “A” o IDF – RM 229 Closet “B” o IDF – RM 215 – Closet “C” • All work must be performed after school hours. This building will require all work to be completed prior to 7:00am and after 3:30pm. Unless performed during summer hours or on weekends.
