The Town of Jackson invites interested parties to share information on EV charging station technologies, associated software, management practices, and limitations. The Town is particularly interested in learning about technologies, pricing mechanisms, and management practices that can reduce emissions associated with the consumption of electricity by EV charging stations, such as by reducing charging during periods of peak demand or encouraging charging during periods when clean and renewable energy is available. The Town is also interested in user fee practices that are fair and do not disproportionately impact residents who are unable to charge their vehicles at home, the use of discount programs to support income or employmentqualified individuals, and best practices for encouraging turnover of vehicles at EV charging stations. The Town is also interested in leasing the EV charging stations to a third party that will manage them and is interested in learning more about lease and management contracts.
