Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project consists of the design and construction engineering for the renovation of the City of Cheyenne Lakeview and Beth El Cemetery irrigation system. This irrigation system will carry re-use water and the ability to switch between re-use and potable water for occasional flushing is required. Coordination with the Deputy Director of CRE, Cemetery Manger and the Board of Public Utilities is a must. An aerial photograph is included by the City of Cheyenne to help aid in the preparation of base maps. Irrigation plans should be prepared using the latest irrigation engineering software. The design must meet all EPA, OSHA, DEQ, and Board of Public Utility requirements and should include provisions for the following: 1. Irrigation component installation details and specifications. 2. Construction and bid documents. Develop minimum qualifications for potential contractors. 3. Discuss with owner the various communication options available including central to field hardware, field hand-held control options, wireless vs. hardwire, central control communication, etc. 4. GPS mapping of all system components including wiring, valving, piping, stations with numbering, etc. 5. Sprinkler head specifications based on the most water efficient, yet cost effective, products available. Parameters should include initial cost, distribution uniformity, wind performance, ease of maintenance, durability, and long-term availability of replacement parts.
