Laramie County Community College (LCCC) seeks a qualified consultant for design services focused on re-designing existing fire suppression systems (sprinkler systems) for twelve (12) campus buildings. The current systems were designed with a 150-psi incoming static pressure. The new design will accommodate for an 80-psi incoming static pressure. The new design will focus on either adding fire pumps or increasing piping sizes in the various buildings to allow for a functioning fire suppression system to operate at the static pressure of 80-psi in each building. An initial investigation was conducted and will be attached. In addition to the fire protection systems design, proposals shall include architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and fire alarm design necessary for complete bidding and permitting packages. Note: the funding source for the project stipulates that this project shall not result in additional square footage to the buildings/campus.
