Specifications include, but are not limited to: START seeks a qualified firm (Vendor) to provide Bus Line Inspection and Post Delivery Buy America Audit Services in connection with a purchase agreement START has issued to Gillig Corporation for the manufacture and delivery of Eleven (11) heavy duty, diesel powered, low- floor buses. Assembly of the buses will take place at Gillig’s manufacturing facility in Livermore, California. The production is being done in two phases: Phase one involves four (4) 29’ heavy duty, diesel powered, low-floor buses with production scheduled to begin March 10, 2023, with a tentative completion date of March 31, 2023. Phase two involves seven (7) 40’ heavy duty, diesel powered, low-floor buses with production scheduled to begin April 3, 2023, with a tentative completion date of April 11, 2023. START is requesting the Vendor selected have an inspector on-site at Gillig’s manufacturing facility throughout the entire project to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
