Bow River Work Center Guard Cabin and Brush Creek Work Center Barracks Siding, Windows and Gutter Replacement
SCOPE & BACKGROUND: The intent of this section is to outline in a general sense the work required under this Project. It is not intended to provide detailed specifications for materials, labor, and workmanship. These are covered in other sections of these specifications. Northern flickers have been nesting in and damaging the existing siding of the Brush Creek and Bow River Work Centers.
LOCATION OF THE WORK: Brush Creek Work Center is located on Wyoming Highway 130 approximately 22 miles from Saratoga, WY. Bow River Work Center is located on the north side of the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District and is approximately 56 miles from Saratoga, WY via I-80 and an unpaved road approximately 12 miles long. It is also 40 miles from Saratoga via Highway 130 and Forest Roads 100 and 101. From Laramie it is approximately 63 miles via Highway 130 and Forest Road 101 (Sand Lake Road) with roughly 28 of those miles on Forest Road 101.
This project is being advertised as a total small business set-aside and as such it is open to all qualified small businesses.
