Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2022 e-Rate Wireless & Network; update some network and wireless equipment. Currently the network infrastructure is entirely Cisco equipment with Cisco 5520 wireless controllers. The District needs to replace 100 existing wireless access points as part of the standard equipment rotation. The District also needs to replace an additional 10 access points for the ‘large venue’ areas where there might be 250 or more users. The District is expecting to purchase 6 Cisco switches that support “multigig” for access points. The District also needs 6 wireless intelligence platform sensors that qualify for a Managed Internal Broadband Service (MIBS). These sensors will provide wireless inspection detail with historical log data.; Part 1 - Cisco Networking Desired: ● 100 Cisco 2800 or better WAPs to replace older Cisco 3500 and 3600 series WAPs ● 10 Cisco WAPs with ‘multigig’ connectivity for the ‘large venue’ areas to replace older WAPs ● 1 outdoor ‘long range’ extended coverage solution for the football field sports complex. ● 6 Cisco switches with ‘multigig’ connectivity. The purpose is to add ‘multigig’ ports for connecting higher capacity WAPs, both currently on this project and in the future. ● Cables & SFPs for switch connectivity must be included in the bid. ● NO extra WAP licensing is required for the 5520 controllers. ● No installation service is required. Part 2 - WyeBot Wireless Sensors ● MIBS (Managed Internal Broadband Service) for 6 WyeBot Wireless Sensors Requirements: ● Recommended WAPs must work on existing Cisco 5520 controllers. ● Bidders are required to provide product specifications for devices, care and warranty package services, and any other applicable information.
