Specifications include, but are not limited to:. The work to be accomplished under this contract will be the replacement of three existing 6” water mains with an installation of the following: 1. 1,213 feet of new 8” ductile iron water main pipe on Elbur Avenue from Lakewood Heights Boulevard to Athens Avenue. 2. 2,829 feet of 8” ductile iron water main pipe on Lauderdale Avenue from Madison Avenue to Detroit Avenue. 3. 591 feet of 8” ductile iron water main pipe on Leedale Avenue from Lake Avenue to Edgewater Drive. Included in this work are new service lines to each existing curb stop, new hydrants, valves, testing, concrete base removal and replacement at sewer trenches and disinfection of new mains and abandon in place the existing 6" water mains. Also, included are sanitary and storm sewer lining, patching and repair. Various streets have manhole separation, new curb inlets, storm laterals and storm sewer repair. Alternate bid items include constructing new cleanouts on storm and sanitary laterals and lining the existing sanitary laterals from the sanitary main to the end of right-of-way on Lauderdale Avenue. Finally, asphalt milling and resurfacing shall be performed from curb to curb on Elbur Avenue, Lauderdale Avenue, and Leedale Avenue within the limits as mentioned above.
