Specifications include, but are not limited to: •Windows shall be washed clean and squeegeed leaving them free of streaks, smears and visible soap residue. Accumulated dirt, paint specs, or other foreign debris must be scraped from windows. Frames shall be scrubbed to remove all dried dirt, insects, debris and other materials so as to be considered clean by the building representative. Windowsills shall be washed clean and all drippings wiped dry. Interior glass and screens shall also be washed clean and squeegeed leaving them free of streaks, smears and visible soap residue.•Pressure Washing shall clean and remove all dirt/dust, mildew, mold, fungus, and accumulated debris. Use appropriate cleaning solutions approved by the Contract Administrator and follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application. If a detergent is used, it must be rinsed thoroughly with clean water. Measures should be taken to not expose landscaping to chemicals which could damage or kill plants as the Contractor is responsible for any damages to landscaping including plants and trees.•The Parking Ramp will require the contractor to utilize a degreaser product that is scrubbed into the oil or fluid contaminated area (prior to pressure washing). The University will not accept any degreaser or cleaning product that is hazardous material (per SDS data sheets). Environmentally friendly (“green”) products such as Dawn soap are preferred. When cleaning oil spots, Contractor must allow the product to briefly soak into the concrete. The area must then be washed with hot water pressure washing equipment that produces a minimum of 3,500 psi (not to exceed 5,000 psi), with a water temperature of 200 (Fahrenheit) degrees or higher. Contractor must use a pressure wand in these areas, rather than using a “surface scrubber.” Oil spot treatment locations and cleaning products will be determined in consultation with the Contract Administrator.•Pesticides shall be applied in sufficient strength and quantity to prevent the need for re-treatment within thirty (30) days. All chemicals and pesticides applied must comply with all federal, state and local approved methods and procedures. All applicators/technicians shall be trained, licensed and certified by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection for treatment of the entire campus and facilities. Proof of license, certification and insurability must accompany proposal when submitted.
