Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of work shall include the replacement of the existing iron 10” and 6” pipe, valves, tees, sleeves and ancillary components needed for a complete replacement of the identified area on attachment A. New piping and tees shall be PVC. The base bid shall not include repaving of asphalt surfaces, landscaping or lawn installation. Contractors may submit an alternate bid to repave the asphalt surfaces and repair the street shoulder, landscaping and lawn back to its original condition. Base bid work shall include but not be limited to the following items: Work with the Town of Grand Chute to obtain all required permits. Contractor responsible for filing and paying permit fee(s). Schedule all work and water outages with Outagamie County and the Town of Grand Chute. Keep project timeline as short as practically feasible to ensure a reliable backup to the Brewster Village facility. Proved a temporary water service to the Ag Services building at 3369 W Brewster St. during the entire outage while water mains are being replaced and tested. Temporary water could possibly be piped from the adjacent Valley Packaging building or UW/Extension building both which are owned by Outagamie County and fed from a separate water main. Provide any required traffic control in a manner that would always allow traffic to access Brewster Village and surrounding buildings. Saw‐cut asphalt as needed along Brewster Street. It will be the contractor’s responsibility to visit the site and determine how much asphalt needs to be cut before bidding.
