Specifications include, but are not limited to: looking for a service provider for telephone based nurse triage services for University Health Services (UHS) during hours UHS is not open. After hour telephones calls from patients will roll-over to the chosen Contractor who will answer the phone during the hours UHS is not open. The Contractor will triage the calls according to established protocols, document and report the phone calls and transmit updated medical information to the appropriate clinic by the next morning – either via fax or electronically. The level of access the Contractor will have to the caller’s health information would be limited. The ability to provide electronic documentation of the caller interaction would be preferred but not required as would the ability of the service to make follow up appointments for callers within the UHS appointment system.
