Specifications include, but are not limited to: Have open on-site hours between 8am-5pm, with some flexibility. A designated pharmacist and enough available staff to manage the pharmacy during business hours. Deliver medications to client’s homes on an as needed basis (not to observe but just deliver, more emergent situations only). Flexible delivery times of medications to the Beloit office and possibly to supervised living placements in Rock County ; Ability to package meds many ways without significant additional costs to consumers. Daily medication distribution to consumers who pick up their meds, sometimes including staff observation to ensure that the client ingests the medications. Ability for staff to pick up meds from the pharmacy and deliver those medications to consumers. Participation in meeting with program staff to discuss client coordination of care as scheduled. Ability to coordinate with staff to confirm daily client pick up of medication. On-call phone consultation during the weekends. Ability to interface with Order Connect and ability for program staff to access the pharmacy’s MARs for printing as needed. The ability of the pharmacy to make add ons to packets. Direct lines to billing representatives so that nurses can get questions answered in the moment. Preferably that pharmacy staff be assigned specifically to Rock County so we can get to know them and they can get to know the consumers and Rock County staff. Prompt responses to messages, emails, and voice mails from staff. Communication by phone and in labeling on medications delivered in the following circumstances: when a pill has changed in shape or color, when a pill is missing due to lack of order received or expired order.
