Specifications include, but are not limited to: Timber sale and regeneration plans for the WDNR Yellowstone Wildlife Area (Approx. 68 Acres – Morgan Lane) lands and WDNR Belmont Mound State Park (Approx. 47 Acres) lands. Site preparation treatment on the 68 acre “Morgan Lane Regeneration Project” includes cutting and treating all elm, ash, boxelder, bitternut hickory, ironwood, and musclewood unless marked with a horizontal orange band, and all trees marked with a vertical orange band or orange slash. Invasive species treatment will include spot treatment of all woody invasive species (including but not limited to honeysuckle and multiflora rose) on all 68 acres. Additionally, areas of thicker native and invasive brush (primarily gooseberry and prickly ash) will be treated on 10 acres where such brush will interfere with regeneration of shade intolerant tree species.
