The Project includes the following Work: Water Treatment Equipment and Piping Modifications: Water Treatment consists of construction of two (2) 24-inch diameter x 72-inch (approximate) tall Anion Exchange Resin adsorption pressure vessels; pre-manufactured pipe/valve skid; extension of existing water supply piping; pipe insulation; miscellaneous valves and appurtenances; above grade drain piping system. A volume of 11 cubic feet (approximately 800 lbs.) of anion exchange resin (shall be furnished and installed in each of the two AIX vessels). Building Modifications: The following modifications to the existing School are required to complete an operable water treatment room including a new metal stud and gypsum board partition (approximate 10’-5” tall by 11’-4” long) in the existing library storage area, half-wall for pipe chase (approximately 5’-6” long), relocation and reinstallation of existing casework, installation of metal double doorway for treatment room access, painting, ventilation equipment, dehumidifier installation, and interior lighting and electrical systems modifications (three new circuits).
