Specifications include, but are not limited to: Brown County Health & Human Services is looking for provider agencies of home-based respite for children ages 0 to 18 years in our Children’s Long Term Support (CLTS) unit. Home-based respite means the respite service can take place in the child’s primary resident or at the home of a caregiver, and can include partial day stays or overnight stays. Children served in the CLTS unit may have a variety of care level needs and fall within the target groups of developmental delay, physical disability or severe emotional disturbance as determined by a standardized state-required screening tool. Although high-needs respite is our area of greatest need, services for children with medium or lower level needs are also needed. Interested providers do NOT have to accommodate all levels of need.
