Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Space temperatures are maintained throughout the building between 68 and 72 degrees during the heating season and between 70 and 74 during the cooling season. Temperatures shall be maintained within range for 95% of the annual occupied hours as measured by system logs. 2. Equipment is to be operating only as much as needed to fulfill its intended function including but not limited to: •Time of day schedules, holiday schedules and start and stop optimization strategies •Setup and setback temperatures •Space temperature set point schedules •Reset schedules such as supply air, chilled water, and heating water •Lockout schedules •Freeze protection set points •Ensure that dead bands or lockout temperatures are properly set to keep heating and cooling from occurring simultaneously unless part of the design. •Sensors critical to the operation are calibrated more than once per year •HVAC equipment has staggered start times to help reduce peak demand •Reduce tenant and occupant complaints
