Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Change compressor oil filter cartridge (Four Chillers). UWM will supply filters. 2. Thoroughly inspect filter media for presence of foreign material. Show filter to plant superintendent before discarding. Service Period #3 - CHILLER WINTER MAINTENANCE (Cont=d) 3. Change compressor oil. York B oil for the York compressors and Emkarate RL 32H oil for the Carrier compressor and York (K) oil for the YD chiller. UWM may choose not to replace compressor oil depending on oil analysis results. Oil removed from York chillers must be degassed, refrigerant recovered, and returned to chiller. UWM will be responsible for disposal of used oil. Oil will be provided by UWM. Contractor should contact Plant Supt. prior to changing out oil to insure that an adequate supply is on hand (229-5475). 4. Empty seal oil reservoirs on York compressors record number of gallons removed from each chiller on service report and in plant chiller lubrication log. 5. Electronically leak-test chiller units (Four), chiller evaporator and condenser tubes (once water box covers have been removed by plant personnel), pump out units (Three), refrigerant receivers (Three), associated refrigerant piping and equipment, and relief vent pipe outlet. Test to be performed using an electronic leak detector capable of detecting a leak rate of one ounce per year. Once leaks have been located using the electronic leak detector they will then be confirmed using a liquid leak detector solution. Leaks that are large enough to cause soap bubbles are to be tagged. Size and location of each leak is to be recorded on the PM sheets, along with any recommendations to repair significant leaks.
