Specifications include, but are not limited to: Circular Dichroism Spectrometer; 1. Scanning Range: A. At least 180-400 nm, preferably larger. Must be accurate to 0.2 nm in this range. 2. Scan modes: A. Measurement of UV/Vis absorbance and CD, simultaneously if possible B. Measure individual or multiple wavelengths during a temp ramp 3. Temperature Range: Must be able to measure at least between -20 and 110 °C, accurate to 0.1 °C. 4. RMS Noise: A. <0.01 mdeg in 180-400 nm range. 5. Samples: A. Ability to hold 5-6 cuvettes with 1 mm pathlength. B. Ability to measure volumes <5 μL. C. Ability to limit sample exposure to light during runs to prevent degradation by light. D. Should include all cuvettes to run 5-6 samples at once. 6. Software: A. Software to run instrument must be included and would ideally automatically calculate Tm values. 7. Service: A. Vendor should have service technicians available, preferably nearby for quick access in the event of an urgent maintenance or repair need.
