• Must have 10 years of experience at NCAA Division 1 Wresting Programs. Mats should mirror those used at NCAA and B1G Championships. • Must have used practice mats in at least 10 other NCAA Division 1 Wresting Programs • Must have attended a site visit prior to bidding. A site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 10:00 am CST. • Mat sizes o Mat 1: 931 sq. feet o Mat 2: 1175 sq. feet o Mat 3: 1225 sq. feet o Mat 4: 246 sq. feet o Spacer Strip mat 1: 100 sq. ft. o Spacer Strip mat 2: 100 sq. ft. o Spacer Strip Mat 3: 67 sq. ft • The room would be outfitted using four large mats and three additional “spacer strips” which will be located between the three load bearing beams that provide structural support for facility • Each mat must be a minimum of 1.25” thickness and meet ASTM F355 Shock Absorbency standard. Mats must score below 100 on the ASTM F355 drop test to meet the safety standard. The lower the score the safer the mat for the student athletes (certified number must be provided). • Each mat and wall padding will be red in color. Three competition circles with competition circle line in white. Wall padding will include white lettering of Wisconsin Badgers or similar TBD wording • The room is also in need of wall padding that covers the walls adjacent to the wrestling mats. Given the room design, the wall padding will be at different heights. Those are outlined below. • o Wall Padding: 135 sq. ft @ 6’ height. o Wall Padding: 2261 sq. ft @ 5’2” height o Wall Padding:150 sq. ft @ 4’6” height • • The wall padding will need to be 1” thickness and should be of the same material as wrestling mats.
