The Project includes the following Work: Architectural, mechanical, and electrical modifications are to be undertaken at the Control Building (STR 05) and Chemical Building (STR 30). The existing dechlorination building is to be demolished (STR 85). New chemical dosing pumps and tanks are to be installed in STR 30. Structural and electrical modifications are to accompany the installation of a new UV disinfection system in the existing UV disinfection/effluent channel (STR 50). New rotary lobe sludge transfer pumps are to be installed to replace the existing progressive cavity pumps in the Digester Building (STR 60) and Sludge Dewatering Building (STR 70). The existing potable water hydropneumatic tank is to be replaced with a full acceptance bladder tank in STR 60. A new pelletizer system and all associated equipment and appurtenances are to be installed in the Sludge Dryer Building (STR 75). Widespread VFD replacement is also to be undertaken throughout the Facility.
