Tasks required of the consulting firm include: 5.1.1 Service Line Tracking Process Review Review Madison Water Utility (MWU) process for tracking service line materials. Contractor shall provide a memo describing the current process, risks and shortcomings of the current process, and recommend improvements to the service line material tracking process. 5.1.2 Inventory validation and QA/QC Assess Madison Water Utility's Service Line Inventory (Inventory) for LCRR and LCRI compliance. The contractor shall provide MWU recommendations for meeting regulatory requirements should the inventory be deficient. Contractor shall provide a memo to MWU to report findings that includes: Errors Options to flip records from unknown to known Recommended inventory updates to identify materials as appropriate per new guidelines 5.1.3 Customer Notification Develop notification templates meeting Wisconsin DNR requirements. In the event WI DNR has not updated rule requirements to meet LCRI standard, templates shall meet EPA standards.
