The desired product will be a mixture of sodium chloride crushed rock salt treated with corrosion inhibited liquid magnesium chloride and with a viscidity agent. The liquid treatment, when mixed with sodium chloride, is intended to provide enhanced performance by improving effectiveness at lower temperatures, reducing corrosiveness and clumping and enhancing adhesion of product to road surfaces. The estimated usage for the term of the contract is 45,000 tons. The volume listed is an estimate and is no guarantee as to the amount that will be purchased during the three (3) year term of the contract.
