Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal of this RFP is to identify opportunities to fully utilize available infrastructure at state nurseries to support natural resource conservation efforts in Wisconsin. Examples include, but are not limited to, natural resource education and research facilities, natural resource conservation offices, and native tree, shrub, grass, and forb nurseries. The objectives of this RFP are to maximize the public benefit and utilization of the Departments state nurseries for natural resource conservation purposes, while maintaining the value and integrity of the properties. Secondarily, the Forestry Division wishes to continue the availability of high quality, native species at economical prices for reforestation and afforestation purposes to ensure the long-term practice of sustainable forestry across Wisconsin.
